Denver, Colorado Was Memorable

July 06, 2018
Denver, Colorado was a memorable travel experience not only because of the horrible allergic reaction I had on my face but for the fact that I went there during the middle of the week. When you travel during the week, the flights cost less, hotel accommodations are less expensive and there are more local events going on that you would normally not be able to attend on a weekend.

For 4 days I practiced yoga, walked the downtown city blocks, seen and smelled the legal weed conception, hung out with 2 older cousins, meet a random guy at the baseball game and explored the city like a local and didn't take an UBER or LYFT. Use UBER code "SLT" to get $25 credit:-) The last time I had a travel experience like that was the year 2005 in New York City. Ride sharing apps didn't even existed. Enough rambling, take a glimpse of traveling with SL Thomas:-) FYI the days are documented under my Instagram Highlight.

This sushi bar was cute. The sushi looked good but wasn't. One roll looked like pigs in a blanket and the flavor was totally off. Yuck!

Day 4
My flight wasn't until late that day so I mostly roamed the city, spent time with family, wrote my latest post on Instagram TV <--- CLICK THERE for the other blog and then I went home.

Overall, Denver, Colorado was memorable and I did enjoy the trip but I'm not interested in visiting during the Summer ever again. Maybe I'll come back during the Winter to try skiing.
