Conceal That Shit Biche!

It's an oldie but a goodie.

This concealer comes in 3 different options: light, medium and dark. Along with the skin tone options when you open the package it also has 4 different colors that will conceal and correct just about every imperfection known to beauty enthusiasts. I still can't believe that it is only $3. It is basically a full coverage concealer and I totally love it. You can use it under the brows to create the perfect arch, conceal that dumb ass blackhead that just won't go away or you can even use it to highlight and glow biche. Glow Biche! Glowwwww... Bling! Bling!

The application is simple, so simple that I don't even have to write down the steps. That being said pick up this little but big goodie at Walgreens, Target, online through Amazon or either directly for E.L.F. Cosmetics. Trust me, you will not regret this purchase as all. "Quality over quantity. Fuck it. I'll try both."

Crayola...? Noooo. Ulta Brow Gel Crayon

Omg! Omg! Omg! I am totally and completely obsessed with this little piece of heaven. Browsing around in Ulta one day for the perfect combination of hold and color and low and behold, there it was. It hiding from me, but I bent down and saw a ton of them sitting there. Always wanting to swatch a product before I purchase it, I anxiously made my way to the checkout line, asked the lady if she had ever tried it and if I could open it. She had never tried it but I could try it and return it if I didn't like it. I highly doubt that I would dislike it because I know the the Ulta brand is actually pretty damn good. I mean they should be considering they have a great ass cosmetic store and their brand should be just as good if not equal to brands like Anastasia Beverly Hills, Lorac, Urban Decay to name a few. Enough blabbing. Here is my thoughts with a quick little tutorial for you.

Obsession: Ulta Brow Gel Crayon $4
The little chubby crayon may throw people off but it didn't throw me off. I know that with the right amount of pressure and the right angle, I could master using this tool turned savior. Smooth and very very great color, this brow crayon is the best. I wish it came with a spooley like the It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil, but I was more than happy to pull out a spooley I had taken from Ulta months ago. Ha ha ha. (I see no purpose in tossing a one time used  spooley I used in the store.) Choosing a shade that one shade lighter than my brows was and is ideal. The width of the crayon is perfect for gripping and great placement. Quick, small strokes and it attaches to the brows, not the skin. This crayon is ideal for those with full shaped but not sparse and thin brows. It is more for adding in color to brows that want to look darker than normal. Of course you can use the spoolie to blend out too much product. Oh, oh, oh, did I mention that I slept in this and woke up with my brows still in tact. I LOVE THIS SHIT! OOOOOOOHHHHHHH WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Application Method:
  1. Prep browns by brushing them up and out towards the hairline towards the tail of the brow
  2. Use a spoolie and clear brow gel lock them in place
  3. Apply the Brow Gel Crayon in short, quick strokes giving the illusion of hair
  4. Use a clean spoolie to blend the product in
  5. Use a q-tip or ring fingers to clean the Brow Gel Crayon off the skin
  6. Press spoolie or q-tip on top of skin to per-fect arch on the top
  7. Highlight under the filled brows with concealer or foundation
HAPPY BROW-ING.

Clarisonic Clarification For Your Eco Tools Pocket Book

Obsession: EcoTools Exfoliating Towel $5

This little towel has been a favorite of mine for over 5 years. Yes I have switched it out for several new ones but this version right here, is my shit! Literally. The exfoliating side is composed of all natural, organic materials that is slightly abrasive but not so abrasive that it will cause surface abrasions. Not only can you use it for your face, but you may use it on your entire body. When combined with a mild cleansing soap such as a Dove White Beauty Bar or an acne cleansing gel like Biore (minus the microbeads [which are bad for your skin since they are actual little plastic balls that occasionally get stuck under your skin] and environmentally hazardous), it does the job very efficiently. Did I mention that it leaves the skin beyond smooth and fully cleansed? It does! Trust me!

Not Forking Out the Doe Obsession: Clarisonic Mia 2 Facial Sonic Cleansing System $150

There is so much hype about Clarisonic that people forget that not everyone can afford a $100-$300 device to scrub away the impurities. And when I say everyone I mean me and whomever may read this article. I love when my face is smooth, clean, and blackhead free. I love the circular motions of this device however I love being able to physically feel the towel cleansing down into my pores.
That being said, if you have the money to toss at a $150 device and $30 for each additional brush head, by all means, do it! But me, I am not. I can afford this device but I personally prefer my dual sided, Eco-friendly, exfoliating towel courtesy of Walmart, Ulta, TJ Maxx and online shopping websites that's less than $11. Yes. $11.

Eco Application Method
  1. Remove makeup with baby oil, Vaseline or an all natural makeup removing towelettes
  2. Wet entire face with LUKEWARM, not hot water
  3. Apply a dime to nickel size amount of mild cleanser to the exfoliating side of the towel
  4. Wet entire face once again with lukewarm water
  5. In circular motions cleanse entire face avoiding the eye area
  6. Switch towel to the smooth side and cleanse the eye area
  7. Rinse with lukewarm water, towel blot dry and apply an eye brightening serum underneath the eyes
  8. *Optional: Put on your glasses and watch Netflix. Partly kidding*

Clarisonic is a great high end option for getting a deep cleanse but do not forget that you have to assemble, read the fine print, charge, pick the right brush, replace the brush, find the right cleanser, and all that other bullshit, get my drift? I'm rambling but that's a lot of steps. Honestly I'd rather spend $180 on new makeup, new makeup brushes, a new flat iron, new products from Lush Cosmetics, wardrobe or a PROFESSIONAL FACIAL. The list goes on and on. Point is I love my Eco-friendly towel. I love the price and I the fact that I have control of its cleansing power.  But more importantly I love that I don't have to worry about any malfunctions due to too much water exposure. "Quality over quantity. Fuck it. I'll try both..." But in this case, I'll stick with my under $180 goodie.
