Mixing and Matching Until Blended. CC Cream

Was so in a rush the other day when I totally didn't realize that I purchased the wrong color foundation stick. So what does a resourceful gal like me do? Mix up my own makeup color of course. As usual I'll make it look just as flawless and effortless like I always do. Here's what I did.

Prep and primed my face by making my own CC Cream. (See previous post.)

Products:
Clinique Acne Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel Blemish Remover (Clears blemishes and stops acne like no other!!)

Tools:
Flat top dense powder brush
Kabuki powder blush

Instructions:
  1. Mix all the products together in small pea size portions and apply to face and extend down to neckline.
  2. Apply (the wrong color, a color to light perhaps) Maybelline foundation stick to entire face excluding under eyes.
  3. Optional: Conceal under eyes with concealer before applying the foundation mixture to skin.
  4. Use dense flat top powder brush to dip into darker foundation and apply to face in circular motion. Apply under eyes as well.
  5. Once covered completely use kabuki powder brush dipped in addition pressed powder foundation and sweep lightly over entire face and neckline.
  6. Optional:Apply bronzer to to hollows of cheek and forehead and apply eye makeup and lip color.
As you know, I'm always In A Rush but will show up pretty!

Straight Winging It. Wing Eyeliner

In a rush but love to wing out your eyeliner! Here's my little tip and trick to getting it fabulous all the time in 10 minutes or less.

Products:

Tools:
Q-tip
1 angle brush

  1. Apply makeup as usual. Line in your upper inner waterline with waterproof kohl eyeliner.
  2. Tilt head down and to left side. Using a small, clean angle brush to dip cream eyeliner in and start a line from the bottom corner of eye and bring outward releasing pressure.
  3. Drag the line from the corner to the lash line staying as close as possible.
  4. Fill in sparse areas with more cream liner.
  5. Clean the corner of the wingtip with a q-tip dipped in concealer by going underneath the line and pressing lightly and dragging it out to make it straight and winged.
  6. Apply several coats of mascara in the direction of the wingtip.
You can use similar products but these are my current obsessions.

Always "In a Rush" but guaranteed to be pretty.

I Have Wings So Sharp They'll Cut You. Eyeliner Application

I'm so absolutely obsessed with cream eyeliner that I had to create a In A Rush look doing a cat eye wingtip so this will be under this page and my In A Rush Series.
First off let me just say that Elf Cosmetics has some fu*ken awesome products that are cheap and just so freaken good. The smooth consistency and the staying power is great especially for only $3.00. It lasts all day long and washes off like a charm. Of course if I feel like I want a waterproof cateye wingtip, I'll use my waterproof liquid eyeliner which is another cheap goodie by Wet n' Wild that'll set this look off for that "I Woke Up Like This" look. Trust me it is good for those unexpected overnight visits with the boyfriend.
Without further ado here's my little tip and trick to getting it fabulous all the time.

Elf Cosmetics Cream Eyeliner
Rimmel Waterproof Kohl Black Eyeliner
